The task
Royal Canin holds deep expertise in animal nutrition, but it was scattered: breed guides, veterinary advice and owners' questions lived in different places on an outdated site.
An owner searching for what to feed a Labrador puppy ended up on a forum instead of reading the brand that knows the answer. The client had a marketing team and veterinary experts, and no web team for this product.
What we built
A breed catalogue with photographs at several resolutions, a library of expert articles that carries the reader from one topic to the next, and FAQ search that takes the question in the owner's own words.
The catalogue holds hundreds of images, so each one is cut for the 360, 768 and 1440 breakpoints and loaded lazily. Rendering is server-side for indexing, with AMP versions of the articles for mobile search and a 301 map so the old site's traffic survived the move.
Result
The platform went live on real content, checked across devices and browsers, deployed to production and handed over with documentation and a support period.
Content and promotion continued with the client's own marketing team, so we have no confirmed commercial figures to publish.
